Today was the awards assembly at the elementary school for PE, Art, and Music. Thomas made it to the top of the Metzler Mile Record Board this year with his time of 8:30. Remember that picture Jeremy took of the top 10 milers last month? Well, what we didn't know was that they've been keeping a database since the school opened three years ago of kids' times, and Thomas is the fastest Kindergartener ever at Metzler. That is pretty cool.
But, we're most proud of him for getting the PE Student of the Year T.R.A.C.E. award for outstanding teamwork, respect, attitude, character, and effort. He's a pretty special guy, and we get excited when others see what we see--an honest, compassionate, hard working (oh, and cute) little man.

Not obnoxious mom but proud mom..and you should be..this is one of many awards for your little man..
Thomas, you are truly one amazing dude and I'm proud to be your aunt. I can't wait to see what you become. I was so proud of what your Mom wrote that it made me cry!
