Why do restaurants
always give kids the yellow crayon with their Kids Menu coloring page? It's the worst color in the box. It's never a good choice unless you're coloring on a black piece of construction paper. We stopped by a Chili's in Corsicana on Friday, and the hostess gave ALL three kids a yellow crayon. They couldn't even barter with each other for a better color. (This same hostess asked us if Lucy needed a menu and crayon. God bless her.) Someone should start a movement to have all yellow crayons removed from hostess stands across this state...

Hey I just caught up with your blog. You are so funny, no I wouldn't be laughing at the time of course. I loved your Jeremy tribute, that was really sweet.
Last time we went out to eat (rarely now that we have 4 kids and it turns into a circus before our food even comes), the hostess asked if Gabriel wanted a crayon. We said no, he'd just eat it as his appetizer.
Some things really should be obvious!
That's funny about the hostess! I also like when you are with a group of adults and there are clearly no children around and they STILL ask you if you need a kids menu. :)
Amen, Katie!
