A Davis Visit

This week has been a little different. Rose is in Fort Worth visiting grandmas, and Anna is in Austin with her cousins. We switched Anna for my nephew, Davis. Thomas has had a blast this week--he's had a live-in boy playmate...something he's dreamed of forever. They've had their moments, but for the most part are having a good week.

I'm making a sacrifice tomorrow--I'm taking the boys to Splashtown. NOT my idea of a fun day. To go parading around in my swim suit at a waterpark when it's 97 degrees? The things we do to make our kids happy.

Here are Davis and Thomas playing the Wii. Jeremy got it for his birthday, and most of our little "moments" have been about this dumb game. As you can see from this photo, Davis is happy as a clam playing, while Thomas has a moment...

The boys helped me make sandwiches for Casa Juan Diego. Once a month we made lunches for the homeless, and today was our day.

On their way to basketball camp...

And, Lucy has a new trick. She turns over from her back to her stomach. Someone make her stop growing up. Makes me sick at my stomach.

Katie, I know what you mean... Gabriel is walking and I'm in mourning.
Lucy looks like she's in heaven with her fist in her mouth.

It gets easier..do you remember my sappy days..and all the prayers I asked for..that is why I (we..Shane usually steals Lucy) happily watch your kids..we can love on them..play with them..and then give them back for baths and bed time..Just takes time..

I love seeing pictures of Davis having fun with Thomas...makes me miss him less. Do I have to give Anna back when I get Davis? She is so much fun. I think people think I fraternal twins when I go somewhere with Aubrey on one hand and Anna on the other. It's so fun to hear everyone say, "They're so cute!" I just proudly say, "Thanks."

Aww...it's okay...you have a younger sister that probably won't have kids until RIGHT when you are REALLY aching for another one! Then you can watch my babies while I va-ca with my hubbie! ;)

Perfectly edible-that little Lucy girl! I need to plan a day to come over and squeeze her, if you'll share :)
