It's official. My allergies have taken over. Constant sneezing. Can't breathe out of my right nostril. (Sometimes it's my left nostril. Someone please explain this to me.) Itchy, sore throat. The whole nine yards. Miserable would be a good word. Yesterday I took Benadryl. Then I took Rose to choir practice. As I drove there, I thought I probably should not be operating large machinery. I got home and crashed. Nothing was going to wake me from my Benadryl coma.
That's what I thought anyway. But that was before Jeremy got on the treadmill. The treadmill's motor? The clompity-clomp of his feet running on the treadmill? Is that what roused me? No. It was his breath. Jeremy has been banned from eating Lupe Tortilla pico de gallo at least until this baby is born~maybe forever. Serious potent red onions or something. Y'all. That is just not okay. He ate there for lunch, got on the treadmill (while I was sleeping), and breathed out of his mouth pico de gallo breath all over my bedroom. Literally woke me from a Benadryl coma.
I went to Target tonight and bought Bonus Baby his first set of onesies and a sleeper. That was pretty fun. Many people (and by many I mean, oh, 2 or so) have asked to see a baby bump picture. I have taken a few of myself in my bathroom mirror. They're on my cell phone. And they are stunning. Maybe I'll get around to emailing them to myself and posting one.
We're still calling him Bonus Baby because we can't decide on a name. There are some serious contenders. We know for sure his name is NOT Elvis. Don't worry. I decided he could be cool even if his name wasn't Elvis.
Jeremy thinks we'll be paying for the kids' college until we die. That's a happy thought. Would it make me a bad parent if I pulled one of them aside at the age of 16 and said, "You know, college isn't for everyone." I kid, I kid. Sort of.
Here are a few pictures from our Spring Break jaunt to one of our favorite family getaways: Kemah.

Over-tired. Over-excited. Over-stimulated.

I love reading your blog and laughed out loud at the college comment. You guys have beautiful babies...can't wait to see pics of little bonus baby!
This post made me laugh out loud - hard. I like you.
Oh, and while all your kids look adorable in these photos (that last one kills me), Thomas looks like a Gap Kids model or something. My goodness.
The college comment is awesome. I figure by the time my kids are in college I will have enough saved to pay for their books! WOOHOO! I can't wait to see a belly picture of you and bonus baby. :)
I feel like you have spoken often of this onion breath. Does it bother you all the time, or just during pregnancy? I miss KEMAH! Glad u'all had a fun getway. And love your belly, above. Yay for bonus babies!
