I took the kids to a movie yesterday. It was Rose's first...ever. Somewhere between packing for our long journey and being a natural airhead, I missed the memo that Ice Age:Dawn of the Dinosaurs was a 3D movie. When I paid for the tickets, and the lady shoved the glasses under the window, I was like*, "Good gracious. Seriously? I mean, the child already lives in fear. Do we have to add anything else to this equation...like, um, 3D glasses that are One Size Fits All...Orangutans!!! Let's see. A movie made for pint-size people with gallon-size glasses? That makes complete sense."
*By the way, when I say "I was like..." that really just explains my thought process. It's not what actually happened or escaped my lips.
I took a picture of Rose with my phone when the movie was over. Too bad you don't get to see a picture of me with my 3D glasses. It's gotta be the coolest look ever. I wear my 3D glasses over my real glasses. So the nose piece is half-way down my nose, and there's a lot of optical paraphernalia behind my ears. I can't tell you how comfortable it is. Of course, I pull it off. I'm cool like that.

hahaha i wish you HAD included that picture...I could use a laugh right about now. Rose is cute in hers because she's cute in everything! :)
I totally don't get it either!! I hate 3-D movies....and my kids won't leave the ridiculously oversized glasses on anyway! We saw Ice Age in a regular format, though...
Love your blog!
Rose looks so stinkin' cute! Funny story, too!
Cracking up. Love that Rose.
