Rose is 2!

Rose turned 2 on Friday. Where did those two years go? Wow. She's getting so big. Her favorite things to do are to sing "Tinkle Tinkle Tinkle Star," color, smother Lucy with love and kisses, and say 'No.'

We rented a huge water slide for her party. It was like a giant slip 'n slide. She was totally scared of it, but it gave the other kids an afternoon of fun. It was a gorgeous day. We were blessed again with great weather for an outdoor party.

When Rose gets nervous now, she brings her hands to her mouth. It's completely automatic. When she noticed everyone was looking at her and singing Happy Birthday, up went the hands. Instead of cake, we had an ice cream sundae bar. It was a huge hit.

Rose got a "Lil Quad" Dora 4-wheeler for her birthday. She's pretty cute on it. In this picture she's making sure everyone knows that it's her birthday, her toy, and no, they cannot ride it, thank you very much.

Oh, and I think I mentioned Rose likes coloring...
