A Weekend Away...A Wedding...and a Wee One (almost)

Okay, here I am finally with an update on the family and pictures from Jeremy's brother's wedding last weekend. We got Thomas out of school early last Friday (he was SO excited to be the first kid with an early dismissal that day) and headed to Burleson. It was a nice drive, and believe it or not, we NEVER turned on a movie. The whole way. And the kids were good. Anna took a nap, Rose looked out the window and sang, and Thomas played with his Power Rangers for hours.

Margaret and Darrell hosted a get together that evening at their house. Then the guys went to Main Event for bowling and laser tag. The wedding was Saturday afternoon, and it was a nice, quaint wedding with family and a few close friends. DeeDee looked beautiful. Unfortunately, Jeremy was in charge of the camera that day, and I ended up with zero pictures of the bride. How did that even happen?

Update on Little Lucy--I went to the doctor yesterday and I'm dilated to 2 cm. The doctor is inducing labor on Thursday, March 27. So, that's her birthday unless she decides she'd like an earlier date. I'm getting so excited, and very anxious to meet her. I hope our family of 5 is ready for a shake-up. We have our little routine in place, and it's been working pretty good so far! Ready or not...here comes LUCY!

The Bride and Groom

Words can't express...oh, wait a minute...dorks?

Austin was a junior groomsman--he's growing up so fast! Turning 10 in a couple weeks.
My new nieces and nephew!! Jessica, Jett, and Jordie--Welome to our family!
Davis and Thomas--the fondue fountain was a hit--especially with my kids' Easter clothes. The Crossroads Chapel--there was still snow on the ground!
I just had to add this picture. Don't you wish you knew what was going through Anna's head at this exact moment? Talk about deer in the headlights...
Thomas at the rest stop in Corsicana on our way home Sunday.
Random picture--it was Rodeo Day at Anna's school last week. She squeezed into her red boots one more time before I pass them down to Rose. She just LOVES these boots.

Love the picture of Thomas at the rest stop! Anna's face is classic because Thomas is just looking so sweet with his arm around her! She cracks me up!
