Thomas ran the 3000 and 1500 meter in the Gulf Association Championships. He qualified for Regionals in the 3000 meter! His qualification time was 11:26:30. We lucked out, and the regionals are in Humble July 4!
For those new to the metric system, the 3000 meter is 7 1/2 laps, or 200 meters short of 2 miles.
