Today was Thomas's last day of Elementary School.
6 years at Metzler,
and just like that I'm the mom of a middle schooler.
So long school year!

Last Friday the 5th graders went Hollywood for their 5th Grade Appreciation, complete with the red carpet.
Nick and Thomas are two of my favorite 11-year-olds. Nick's like one of the family.
Thomas "pulled a ticket" in Kindergarten for kissing Lane. And look. Now they're accepting an Oscar together.

Thomas is such a good kid, and has chosen some awesome people to be his friends. I'm proud of him. Next stop...Hildebrandt.
