A Fun Fall Visit

My parents came down for a weekend visit, and we had the perfect weekend. We had another cold front (didn't stay...A/C still running like a banshee), and the weather was absolutely perfect.  It was a perfect sports weekend for all of us, too.  Longhorns won.  Rebels won.  Thomas's basketball team won, and he had his highest scoring game with 12 points!  And Rose's team had their FIRST WIN.  Talk about parents going insane on the sidelines.  We were yelling like we'd been watching them get creamed and/or shut out since September because, well, we have.  We ended Saturday at the Pumpkin Patch.

I love that God gave us another go round with Isaac to experience all those "firsts" one more time.  Humbled every day that God gave us Isaac.

Even when he looks like this.  Which truly isn't very often.

 See this ridiculously huge smile on my face?  I didn't know Jeremy was taking this picture.  But it gives you an idea how much joy Isaac has brought to this family.  

 I love this picture.  4 out of 5 ain't bad.  Isaac was already napping when they left.
