Monday Musings

1. Thomas has a new "get rich quick" plan. He and Anna (and by "He and Anna" he means "Anna") will capture as many lizards and toads and frogs from the backyard as they can, then they will sell them to neighbors as pets. It's fool proof.

2. Rose can ride her bike! She and Jeremy spent about an hour on Saturday going back and forth in front of our house. She learned on the same bike Thomas and Anna learned on, but can already ride her bike which is a bit bigger.
3. I do not like pears. And I most especially do not like pear-flavored Jelly Bellies. I must not forget to remind myself this every Easter. Just say NO to the little green ones with dark green specks.

4. Lucy had her Easter party at school and sort of dressed like an Easter egg in her new dress from Nana.

5. And without further ado, the kids' school had Field Day last week. A fun day was had by all. Field Day SpectatorsThe theme was NASA/Space. Here is Anna carrying a huge bucket of "moon rocks."The water relay is always the People's Favorite. Because who doesn't love soggy socks inside their tennis shoes? Here's Rose at the Pool Noodle Toss. (I'm sure it had a space-themed name, but I don't remember it.)
Get ready. Get set.GO!!!She won! Hers went the farthest.Anna did this scooter race (obviously after the water station) and someone thought she needed some help...That someone was Lucy. Then Anna's group went on to Tug-of-War. It was girls against boys...Yea girls! They won!And I thought this picture of Thomas was funny. I think he got in trouble for climbing the fence right after I took the picture. Way to encourage bad behavior, Mom...
