Stream of Consciousness

I'm pretty sure my brain is nearing full capacity. Nice time for a stream of consciousness writing assignment like in 7th grade. Here goes:

Rose got gum in her hair...3 weeks ago. And today when she got her haircut, there was still a little bit in there. What? I was wasting good peanut butter just spreading it on her head. Plus, their magic detangling potion did the trick. Good as new.

What gives with the 18-wheeler full of leftover furniture from North Carolina? Do they drive down other streets, or just mine? Those guys really asked me to come into the truck and look at furniture while my kids were playing (half-naked~we had an ant issue) in the yard? Really? They might as well drum their fingers together while they say, "Step into this cage. You'll be safe here."

Oh, and it's happening again. I'm getting giddy and excited. There are 12 days until New Moon. I can't wait. I've got the soundtrack. I've memorized the trailer. I have reread Twilight and New Moon. I have a list of the New Moon press junket--DVR is ready. My portraying an Owl in the preschool play The Bear is Scared, my coordinating volunteers for a huge ministry at my church, my pretending to be Taylor Swift in the car while belting out Fifteen at the top of my lungs, my Box Tops counting prowess...those are just things to do to keep the Twilight nerd at bay.

Halloween is over. But the costume parade is never ending. It may be stream of consciousness (sort of), but you know a post is better with pictures.
And finally, Lucy's rotten. She won't be told no. She won't be helped. She's fiercely independent. And here's the reason:

All she has to do is hug my leg, rest her chin on my knee, look at me with those eyes, and she gets whatever her heart desires. It's bad y'all.

at bay? i don't know :) love the costumes, good tip about the gum and detangler, and lucy, in your words, could in fact be baked into little lucy cookies and eaten. but then again, so could all your kids.

Your kids are just too cute. I am getting excited for New Moon, too...though maybe not as much as you, super fan!

That picture of Lucy is the the cutest thing ever. I'm excited about New Moon too - although not excited enough to go at midnight - I need my beauty sleep

Eleven days! Eleven days! Eleven days! Twilight and New Moon may be perfect airplane reading material for me next week. Good idea, Katie.

Have you bought the New Moon party products at Target? I thought I bet Katie's having a screening party before going to see it. I really want to see it too. Laughed to myself when I saw everything.

See...after all those years of giving me a hard time for being the "spoiled" youngest child....Lucy made you finally get it! You want to savor every moment with your youngest because she is the last baby....UNTIL GRANDCHILDREN! (But lets live in this moment for now!) Hee hee hee!

Love the post! Love the pics! Love EVERYTHING New Moon! Love you!
