July recap

July flew by!  Make time slow down!  Summer is almost gone.  :(

Jeremy got older.

 Emily taught Isaac how to swim.

 Rose's friend, Lauren, moved to Colorado, so the girls had one last sleepover.

 Shonna hosted an international food festival with the Speers, Liardons, and Kompeliens.  She chose France as her country, and cooked excellent French cuisine.  Bon appetit!

My contribution to the French cuisine was Fondu! 

Lucy was toothless!

 We spent a weekend in Frisco with Jonathan and Dee Dee and Jennifer and the cousins.

 We went to a Houston Dash game, and Rose's team got to escort the team onto the field.  We got to see Carli Lloyd score the winning goooooooal!

 And we ended the month with a week of VBS.  This year Anna and Thomas were both helpers.  Anna helped me with 2nd and 3rd grade games, and Thomas was a guide for a 4-year-old group.  It was such a fun week in "God's Big Backyard."
