Every year I like to add at least one new thing to our Advent chain that we haven't done in years past. This year we went to the Zoo Lights. I loved it. But then again, I love everything that involves walking around looking at Christmas lights. I'm easy to please.
The zoo did not disappoint. We were able to go to the indoor exhibits, and some of the outdoor animals were awake and out for us to see. We swear that we saw an elephant swaying/dancing to John Lennon's Happy Xmas (War is Over). Cross my heart. It was fascinating.
