Our Kickoff to Advent

I can't think of a more perfect way to have started our favorite time of the year than hopping on board the Polar Express!  We took the long journey north in our pajamas with the Speers and a joyful time was had by ALL!

 We listened to the story, had cookies and hot chocolate.  HOT HOT, Yeah, We got it!

 Look at the smiles.  You can't hide joy like that.

Singing, dancing waiters?  Yeah, we got it.

 Looks of awe and wonder?  Yeah, we got it!

 And the award for best sport of the evening?  Thomas danced with this lady to Deck the Halls in its entirety.  Multiple verses.

 And to top it all off, Santa gifted each kid with a bell from his sleigh!  We believe.

 This night was emotional for me.  I cried from the first syllable of the story,  then as we pulled up to the North Pole (with Josh Groban's voice piping into the train car speakers), straight on through to the time Santa boarded our car.  It was a magical night.
