Things I'm thankful for on this sunny Thursday:
1. Summer fruit. And kids who are summer fruit lovers. I cannot get enough. I think it is one of my favorite things about the summer. The winter is so bleak with only apples and oranges to choose from.
2. I'm so thankful this is not in my kidney anymore. Yep. Another kidney stone. That's two this pregnancy. I mean, is it not enough that I have to birth a child? I don't recall ordering a side of kidney stones, reflux, vericose veins, and extreme summer heat with the baby. Of course, I didn't actually order the baby either. God just decided to give it all to me 'on the house.' And I'm glad he did. (Oh, and be thankful that I'm not sharing with you the details of how this kidney stone was retrieved...)
3. Built-in Car Wash. I put my feet up and read a book while the kids went after it with the hose and dishwashing liquid.
I promised an icy pop to anyone who helped make the car shiny. :)
4. 12 years of marriage to my best friend. Last month we celebrated our 12th wedding anniversary. But since I met him in 1995, Jeremy's been my protector, my provider, my main source of laughter, my partner, and my friend. (Anna took our picture before we went out to celebrate. Thus the leaning mantle.)

love this post! so sorry about the vile piece of whatever it is that came out of you. but those four kids are SO CUTE! i love love LOVE that pic of the four of them on the driveway! glad you got to celebrate your anniversary. you look beautiful. still one of my favorite couples ever! love you both! and all! and even the drama maker-love him too. :)
And I'm thankful I get to see you all this summer. What a treat!
