For Thursday, we were minus a teenager, but we met Shonna and Graysen downtown for some city adventures. Before they met us at Sam Houston Park downtown, we had a Starbucks treat and took some pictures at the Houston Historical Society's general store and park.
When Shonna and Graysen joined us, we went to the observation floor of the Chase Tower and looked down over Houston. The Chase Tower is the tallest building in Houston at 75 floors. The observation deck is on the 60th floor.
We went from the top of the city to below the city for lunch in the underground tunnels! I have lived here for 16 years and never even knew these tunnels existed! How awesome is this?!
We ended the day with Gelato in the Heights before it was time to pick Anna up!
