"Save a Poodle!"

"Mommy, we're going to make bracelets and sell them in front of our house and raise money for the Poodle Rescue."

My kids have ideas like this a lot.  Sometimes they follow through.  Sometimes things fall through.  Regardless, they have an entrepreneurial spirit.

Well, this time, they followed through.  They got to work on their Rainbow Looms, produced some beautiful inventory, and went to work selling.  And I have to say this was a huge driveway success.  They had signs, and a great pitch.  They were even yelling at joggers as they jogged by--"Buy a Bracelet!  Save a Poodle!"   They even had some out of town buyers.  ;)

The girls raised $92 for the Houston Poodle Rescue.
The volunteers were so excited to see the kids.  The girls got a tour of the facility, and were up close and personal with some of the dogs waiting for their "furever homes."  It was such a proud moment for everyone.
Happy Day!
