Thomas was two positions away from making the Junior Olympics in North Carolina. He ran a hard race. He didn't qualify, but he makes me so proud. He was strong and gracious in defeat, and already has his sights set on next year. He was among the top 5 fastest 3000 meter 11-12y.o. runners in Texas. Not too shabby, son.
Oh, and no rest for the weary. Next stop...training for cross country in the fall begins now. :)
