When Upward basketball season rolled around again, Jeremy decided to coach all three big kids' teams. He loves teaching kids how to play basketball. I said the other day that maybe he missed his calling. But, I'd say coaching three Upward teams--even though it's volunteering and not a paying job--is answering a call of some kind. The parents and kids love him.
To celebrate the season, we invited all the kids and their families over last weekend. I think there were fifty people here. I love a house full of joyful people.
