Dear Bonus Baby Isaac,

It's been a year since I wrote you last.  It's been a year since I met you.  It's been a year since I became a mother of five.  It's been a year.  Definitely the fastest year of my life.  

Isaac, you have taught me to trust myself.  I learned that I'm capable of doing more than I ever thought possible.  God used you to teach me to trust Him.  Before you, I would have told anyone who would listen that I trusted God.  But it wasn't until you came that I truly knew what that meant.  

You are the luckiest baby ever to have such a special connection with everyone in this family.  Anna is like your second Mama.  She carries you everywhere.  Rose sings to you every day.  You even have your own special way of telling her when it's time to sing.  You follow Lucy everywhere.  And if you're not following Lucy, you're following Thomas.  You aren't walking yet, and you don't like playing by yourself.  Jeez.  I wonder why.  :)

When Daddy gets home from work, all you want to do is hang out with him.  Dada is your favorite word to say.  Daddy can get you to crack up like no one else.  Of course. 

Isaac, my heart is full.  You are the perfect exclamation point to this family.  I love your smile.  I love your curly hair.  I love your strong will.  I love your happy spirit.
