The seven of us spent a weekend in New Orleans on our way home from the beach. It was quite the gear shift going from relaxing on the beach to checking into a hotel room and walking around in the middle of a busy city. But we're the Liardons. We have fun no matter where we are. ;)
We took a French Quarter tour.
Gear shift, indeed. His phone worked way better in the city than it did on the beach. Caught ya texting.
Kids love almost nothing more than spending time in a hotel. Close quarters, elevators, swimming pool, root beer machine, flat screen tvs. Yes. They said we must be poor because we don't have a flat screen tv at our house. Nevermind the HD movie screen. That doesn't count, apparently.

Our favorite stop in New Orleans was the swamp tour. We went on a boat ride and saw so many alligators, learned the difference between a swamp and a marsh, and got to hold a baby gator!
Look closely. Yep. All 7 of us. See Izie peeking around Rose? That's the ONLY picture of the seven of us that was on my camera after a 10-day vacation.
After the swamp tour, we were off to the Audubon Zoo.
Then we ate dinner at Mother's per Susan's recommendation. It was good. I even took a picture of my food with my phone, that's how much I liked it.
"How big is Isaac?"
