Pumpkins, etc.

First, let me introduce you to the Pumpkin Princess and her little nobleman, dressed and ready for a Halloween party at school. In case you were wondering, yes, we had a visit from another Pumpkin Princess a couple years ago.

Of course, this year's Pumpkin Princess has hair to match her dress.
Now, what happens when you wait until 7:00 PM on October 30 to get a pumpkin for a Jack-o-lantern, and send Jeremy to the store to fetch one?

This happens.

He was so proud of his purchase.

Until he told me what he spent on it. You spent HOW much on this huge, ugly pumpkin?

Er, um, uhhh.

Anyway, I got over it. Because he was so excited about it. And so were the kids.

"Pumpkin Jack" and the gang. Notice Pumpkin Jack's soul patch? Notice Thomas's mini-me? Notice how we could have stuffed Anna inside Pumpkin Jack? She totally could have been Pumpkin Jack for Halloween.
Here are this year's cast of characters...Yes, Anna and Rose are exactly what they were last year. Yes, Lucy is wearing hand-me-downs. No, Thomas is not in a bad mood. He's in character. He's a bloodied, beat up, black-eyed football player. It was a bad season to be an Oiler. What can I say?
