That was the day I became a Mrs. The day I started sleeping on the right side of the bed. The day that I started leaving laundry on the couch and shoes on the floor and he loved me in spite of that. Beginning on that day, I have had 3,650 some-odd days of consecutive laughter. Yes, he's made me laugh even on the saddest days.
On that day, in the church I attended from a tender age, our dreams and plans of a life together were set in motion. Dreams of children, owning a house, dogs in the backyard, travel. Dreams of building a career and a foundation on God.
Of course, when we dreamt of children, we dreamt of loving them, holding them, watching their accomplishments with pride. We forgot that with children also comes minivans, urine, screaming fits, and attitude. And with owning a home comes broken toilets, hurricane damage, electricity bills so high we could feed an entire village in Guatemala for a year for the same amount.
When we dreamt of having pets we just knew our dog would come in 1st place in his obedience training competition. We never dreamed he'd have skin allergies and hip dysplasia. And when we dreamt of traveling, Europe and Australia were on the list. We never dreamed that driving to Conroe for the weekend would be a luxury.
Of course, even after 9 years of rockin' it in his career, I think I could have told you Jeremy would be starting his own business one day. That came as no surprise.
Yep. The first decade has been a blast. I love our life. I don't know why God has chosen to bless me the way He has, but I praise Him for it...and for Jeremy...every day.

I can't believe it's already been a year...
I'll never forget sitting in the church and hearing the lady behind me saying "Sometimes you look at two people and just know they'll be together forever." Couldn't have said it better myself.
I am proud and blessed to count you two among my very best friends.
Take care guys, and here's to another great decade together!
Love,
Matt
