Metzler DI-namites Reborn

When asked on the first day of school what her goals were for 5th grade, Anna had one answer:
To make it on the Destination Imagination team.
And that she did.

This team has been working so hard for the past four months on a Project Outreach Brand Aid challenge, and was ready to present their hard work at Regionals at Tomball High School this weekend.

Destination:
Round up your team and identify a community need.  Once you piece the puzzle together, you will unlock the world of Brand Aid.

Points of Interest:
*Use the creative process to identify, design and carry out a project that addresses at least one real community need.
*Use graphic arts and sounds to create an effective brand to help meet the project goal.
*Create a live presentation that highlights the project and project evaluation.
*Design and create a project puzzle to be put together during the tournament presentation.
*Create and present two Team Choice Elements that show off the teams's interests, skills, areas of strength and talents.
The team: Annah, Faith, Kelly, Carter, Anna, Bella, Cooper
The kids did such a wonderful job, and came in 2nd place at Regionals.  They received the DaVinci award for amazing props and costumes.  Unfortunately, only the first place team advances to state.
Anna and her awesome Team Managers: Ms. Milkie and Mrs. Mackey
I'm so proud of this team and their amazing hard work.  They did their own research on Ancient Egypt, wrote a script, cleaned up the Woodlands Waterway, created costumes, painted props, learned about the Rosetta Stone and hieroglyphics, not to mention the hours spent practicing Instant Challenges.  This was a dream team of seven of the nicest kids ever, and I'm thankful that Anna was part of something so awesome.
