1. Yesterday I registered Isaac for his first year of preschool. He'll start next school year. Life is fleeting. I still remember looking at that pregnancy test like it was yesterday. And the look on Jeremy's face. We were hosting a party that was scheduled to begin three, yes, three minutes after I took the test at 6:57 PM on a Friday night in December. I'm almost certain the blood had not returned to my face when the first guest arrived. And now he's going to school. And you know what? I'm good. Life is fast. But life is awesome, and if Isaac has taught me anything, it is to treasure what I have. I'm excited for him.
2. One of the questions on the registration application is, "What form of discipline works best for your child?" I've always thought this question was a little strange. I mean, how do you answer that, really? I would love to take a look at the evolution of an answer. I counted, and this was my twelfth time to answer this question. My answer: "I find that spoiling him has worked well so far." Isaac has taught me to treasure what I have, and he's taught me to laugh at life a lot more than I ever did before. (which, let's be honest, I was laughing quite a bit already...)
3. I registered Isaac. And on the same day I went to the 6th grade parent orientation at the middle school. Speaking of laughing, it's funny that I went from "what form of discipline works best for your toddler" to locker combinations, electives, Pre-AP vs. Regular classes, puberty, and planners all in the same day. Thomas is so excited. He went to Hildebrandt Friday during the school day for his own orientation, and came home with his course catalog! His elective for 6th grade will be concert orchestra. Let's do this.
4. Another Disney trip is in the works for our family during Spring Break, and I have a new obsession I must confess here. I surprise myself sometimes. Anyway, I'm obsessed with the Disney clothing on Etsy. Y'all. It's dangerous. I'm not only obsessed with the clothes, but I'm obsessed with my children dressing alike while we are there. Anna's pushing 9, so she has an opinion about this now. There are a few things she's still willing to do for her sweet Mama, but I must be careful not to cross the line. Must. Pull. Myself. Away.
5. The weather the last couple weeks has been gorgeous. We've spent a lot of time outside. Here are some pictures of the kids playing outside one evening. I didn't take many pictures in January. I've been doing a photo a day challenge on Instagram, so I do have a lot on my phone. I should upload them to my blog. Shoulda woulda coulda.

The world DOES keep on spinning! It's scary how fast it flies by! I love you and your children so much! (And your husband, too!)
Ok.. I'm catching up. I love you all so much, and am dismayed that 1)Isaac is going to preschool, 2)Thomas is going to sixth grade, (SIXTH GRADE!?!?) and 3)That Rose looks like shes 19 in that picture. I'm so glad you had 5 kids because they are all so beautiful and wonderful and cute and funny. Just like their parents. Also-I'm very jealous of DIsney World. Love you and seeing pictures of your fabulous family!!!!!
